Aili Beach in Central Sumba Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province

No one can deny the values of natural attractions like beaches, no? When it is about beautiful beaches, East Nusa Tenggara Province has many of them including the one called Aili Beach of Central Sumba Regency. To be exact, the location is in Konda Maloba Village and it resides in South Katikutana Sub-District. Like other beaches of NTT Province, this one is recognized for its pristine nuance and beautiful white sand. The good thing is that it resides in the south of Manupe Tanadaru National Park, so tourists can drop by in the beach after visiting such famous tourist destination or vice versa.

The Nuance

In terms of nuance, Aili Beach combines serenity with beauty. The atmosphere feels soothing as the beach resides near to a forest, after all. When it comes to the shore, it features white sand with soft texture as well. Not to mention the environment is quite clean and unspoiled! What about the sea? The waves are moderate so swimmers can enjoy the activity regardless of the time, either during low or high tide. Do not forget the fact that the beach is located near to a well-known national park, so tourists may find lots of trees and plants located near to the shore.

Exploring Aili Beach

The first allure of Aili Beach is the presence of lush trees and plants growing near to the shore. Well, the location is quite near to a national park after all. That means tourists can explore the forest later after spending a good time at the beach! Thus, it is recommended to wear proper footwear and carry enough supplies when heading to the site. Also, it is better to come with a local guide who knows the route well (especially for those who want to explore the forest).

The next allure of the beach is none other than the soft-textured white sand. That means beach walking is quite recommended there. Tourists can simply walk on the beach and enjoy the nuance with their families. Even this activity feels comfortable at noon, as the sand becomes warmer. Thus, people don’t even need to wear footwear when exploring the shoreline.

Another allure of Aili Beach is the serene atmosphere of the sea. The waves are considered small, so these won’t make too much noise. That means visitors can enjoy relaxation and find peace to their heart’s content on site. It is also possible to eat lunch together at the beach, as long as they have prepared the supplies and equipment beforehand especially the mat. Later, do not miss the chance to watch a beautiful sunset in the afternoon!
